Canada Post strike update

Alternative payment methods and online claims service

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), who work for Canada Post, has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET. This means mail will not be accepted or delivered during the strike period. Wawanesa is ready to support alternative sending and receiving of payments during this time to help minimize any inconvenience to our members. We understand we are all in the same position.

Please know Wawanesa online services, along with other methods of sending and receiving payment, are always available to use. Whether you are an Individual, Group member or both, find your alternative options on this page.

We will keep you informed as the situation evolves with any recommended actions you can take, as well as other important updates.
